Kingdom Children
Raising Kingdom Children
Helping parents raise children whose lives are governed by God’s Word rather than simply by the standards of the world.

Gabriel · Founder of The Front Desk Family
And my life’s work is helping families live that way.
I’m Gabriel, and I help young Christian adults heal resentment toward their parents, help parents raise Kingdom Children, and help families build stronger relationships with God and with one another.

This started with my family
I was born into a wonderful Christian home with four siblings. Growing up, I understood that God was supposed to be the center of our house. Faith wasn’t meant to be something we practiced only at church. It was supposed to shape the way we lived, communicated, treated one another, and understood our family.
But as I grew older and began to know God for myself, I realized there is a difference between growing up in a good home and becoming a godly person.
I respected my parents and loved my family. But many of the things I did were simply because my parents told me to do them. I didn’t always have a personal understanding of God or why His Word should have predominance over my thoughts and the way I lived.
Being good is not the same thing as being godly.
That realization changed the way I viewed life, family, faith, and eventually my calling.
The moment that changed everything
For about two years, I served in church media. During that season, I was learning, serving, and growing, but I didn’t yet fully understand where all of it was leading.
One day, while fasting and praying, I lay down beside my church — Lighthouse Chapel International, now known as the United Denomination Originating from the Lighthouse Group of Churches — at Qodesh, beside the Jesus Cathedral.
While I was there, I had a dream. In it, I was at home with my dad, studying The Dangerous Sins by Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. We were running a YouTube channel together.
And that dream stayed with me.
Not long after that, I started a YouTube channel with my dad. I’ve continued creating because I believe God has placed something in my heart for the younger generation.
I want young people to see life through the lens of God. His Word cannot simply be something we quote. It must become the foundation from which we think, communicate, make decisions, and live.

My calling
I believe God has called me to help families raise children who don’t simply become “good” people, but godly people — Kingdom Children whose lives are shaped by the Word of God.
Not simply a child who behaves well, but one who learns to put God’s Word above everything else.

A personal relationship with God
The goal isn’t simply to raise good children. The goal is to raise godly children.
The two streams of my work
Kingdom Children
Helping parents raise children whose lives are governed by God’s Word rather than simply by the standards of the world.
Kingdom Parents
Helping parents create homes where God is not simply mentioned, but truly has predominance.
The family wound
Sometimes the people we love most are also the people we struggle with the most.
I’ve seen young Christians build resentment against their parents because they feel misunderstood, unheard, controlled, disappointed, or hurt. And I’ve experienced the importance of this personally.
I was always Daddy’s boy. I was always Mommy’s boy. My family mattered deeply to me. But as I grew closer to God and understood His Word for myself, I began seeing family relationships through a different lens.
I believe young Christians shouldn’t have to choose between loving God and honoring their parents.

The biblical foundation
Ephesians 6:1–2 teaches children to obey their parents in the Lord and to honor their father and mother. Children need to learn obedience, while parents must understand what it means to lead their children “in the Lord.”
In a world where it can feel normal to cut people off simply because they don’t understand us, I want to teach a different perspective: understand your parents, heal from what hurt you, establish healthy relationships, and learn to honor them without pretending pain doesn’t exist.
Our siblings matter too. They can become some of the most important people in our lives, especially when our parents are no longer with us. Building healthy sibling relationships is part of building a healthy family.
The signature framework
Healing doesn’t happen by pretending the wound isn’t there. It begins when we’re willing to face it.
Identify the fear that keeps you silent, angry, distant, or stuck.
Understand the family pain, rejection, pressure, or confusion that shaped your response.
Bring the wound into the light through Scripture, honesty, prayer, and surrender.
Rebuild your identity, relationships, boundaries, and peace.

Why I do this
I don’t believe the answer to family pain is simply to walk away. I also don’t believe the answer is to pretend everything is okay.
I believe there is a better way: truth, healing, forgiveness, boundaries, communication, obedience, honor, and most importantly, God.
My goal is to help people understand their family wounds without allowing those wounds to become their identity. I want young Christians to heal resentment without losing their relationship with their parents.
I want parents to understand that raising children is more than producing successful adults. And I want families to become places where God’s Word has predominance.

Who I am today
I am a United States Marine — an important part of who I am, separate from the calling that began with my faith and family.
I’m continuing to grow in my relationship with God, His Word, and the responsibility of serving people.
Through YouTube and other platforms, I start conversations about God, family, healing, parenting, and Christian living.
At the heart of everything I do is a desire to see families become stronger, healthier, and more centered on God.
What I want people to experience
You can love God and still need healing.
You can honor your parents without ignoring your wounds.
Your family can become more God-centered than it is today.
